Well, my freind Erlin was going out with this girl, Delia. So this Sunday, Erlin dumped Delia. And this is me Eric. I liked Delia so I told her and asked her out. She said yes, and well we were going out for a day so far. I go to school on Tuesday and Delia and me walk to a Winn-Dixie across the street from our school and we talk. People were saying we looked cute together and I thought we were going to be together for a long time. Oh how wrong was I. Later Tuesday evening, she calls me saying that she still has feelings for Erlin and that she not ready for a relationship. So she dumped me.... She couldn't tell me that she didn't want to start a relationship when I asked her out? What should I do?

sounds like to me that the girl doesnt know what she wants since she couldnt tell you that she didnt want a relationship before you started dating. if the girl still has feelings for Erlin, then let her date the dude. i doubt it will last long since Erlin dumped her in the first place. i agree with Ian. school dating isnt the best. wait til your in 11th or 12th grade at least.

If you really like her, then you should be thinking about her happiness over yours or it's just a selfish relationship if otherwise. So, if she's happy with Erlin, then you should be happy that she's happy. But stay friends with her and take good care of her.

Yeah, I stayed freinds with both Erlin and Delia. But whatever, now I don't really care anymore what she did to me. And my friends told me that middle school is just fake love and wait till high school to find true love.

You can have true love in college. I know of some people that started dating in middle school even and are married to this day.

Wow... There are still people that go up to Delia and call her things like a whore or b!#$@.. Since, we're freinds I try to stop them about saying that to her. But I still have feelings for her, you know what I mean?
