I can't be successful with barely any of my forums that are resource forums. The only one I was successful with was a Chat Forum which soon grew inactive.

How can I make it different? I mean, I'm a reviewer on several sites, but when it comes to mine, I'm clueless!

Well you have to ask yourself. What makes your forum better than anyone else's? If you answer this than is should be as successful as ever.

I too have a resoruce board and one of the toughest things is advertising it. But there are places out there! I think what you have to do is have something no one else offeres. We at Tiger Ads have a ranking system that is actually proving to be very useful to attracting members and no one else that I know of is doing it. So it helps.

But resoruce boards are difficult at best to run. But you have to keep plugging away at it. I know it seems like they just don't make it, but given time, plenty of advertising and putting your blood sweat and tears into it you'll make it.

Well the requirement on that is much larger too. And so it will take more time before that will get used.

You might try finding something that will give you a handle up in your advertising and is easy for members to participate in.

Also maybe start some form of contest. It might help but not sure at this stage.
