I need an idea on how to get members. Any tips would be much appreciated.
Also I need buttons and pins and that kind of stuff for my forum.

You need at least 10 posts to make a request. :)
But the best way to get people to join your forum is to make a signature, and make it a link to put in your sig at other forums.

Basically, advertise on as many site as you can. Make your board look good so people will register.

Advertise as much as you can. Join other forums that are simular to yours in main topic, create a ad banner signature that is linked to your forum and get to posting in not only your site but as many others as you can. And stay that way.

Advertise and Affiliate. Also, recruit your friends and make them do that to theirs and so on a so forth.

Yes getting your staff to help with advertising does make it easier! LOL Its a requirement in my site to be a staff member...lol
