Title: Leave Iraq or keep fighting?
Nir - May 28, 2007 06:05 AM (GMT)
Simple question, very complex issue. I myself don't have the slightest idea. There is a flaw in the strategy, and I think that strategy needs to change. Not sure how, but we can't keep this up.
Ian - May 28, 2007 09:46 PM (GMT)
Well there are still Iraqi fighters killing our troops... I voted stay.
Chris B. - May 28, 2007 10:50 PM (GMT)
We stay. We finish the job, or things will be much worse than we found them.
Brandon - May 29, 2007 01:18 AM (GMT)
It is time to leave. We need to start working about the people in our own country before we start worrying about other countries. Hell it seems that we go out of our way to help other countries before we help ourselves. It seems that is going to be a repeat of the Vietnam war. Too many men an women are dying everyday over there. So yes I did vote time to bring our men and women home.

Things are much worse than when we "found" them.

It's not the federal governments job to make everything perfect. The state and city governments have that as a main job. Stay.
Nir - June 3, 2007 07:36 AM (GMT)
Are you saying state government's should be invading other countries instead of a united federal body?
What happens is two states want to go to war, each one supporting a different side of the battle? War between states? That wouldn't be very good.
DukeSI - June 14, 2007 04:53 AM (GMT)
I say leave. I think it would be best for all involved.
FaStBuLLeT - June 15, 2007 05:29 PM (GMT)
Honestly, leave.
This has been going on too long. This might be our children's war.
.Black - June 19, 2007 11:33 PM (GMT)
Leave.
I for one will not be drafted into a war similar to Vietnam. I don't believe in the cause and honestly it is the biggest waste of money I've ever heard of. How about the government attempts to fix our own society's problems before it goes to fix everyone else's with OUR tax dollars.
Maveus - June 21, 2007 12:43 AM (GMT)
We've come this far, we might as well stay. We have done quite a bit of good there amongst all of the controversy.
St3ph - August 7, 2007 10:46 PM (GMT)
Stay.
I do believe we've done some good since being there, but to pull out now would admitting defeat. A rather immature view, I'll admit, but in my opinion the respect for our country has depleted since involving ourselves in this conflict. It'd be a shame to allow even further disgrace by giving up and leaving.
mr.swartz - August 29, 2007 10:48 PM (GMT)
I think they should leave but thats kind of impossible because If everyone left then the iraq people would come into the usa which we dont want. I hope we can tell them that we want peace but who knows what their dictator would think of that. ::wub::
Ian - August 30, 2007 01:50 AM (GMT)
Well... I think we should stay. Troops in Iraq are not only killing people. Troops are also working as police forces, and giving stuff to the civilians like food, clothing, etc.

Very true. They need to be baby sat lol because they cant seem to get along with anyone.
sportsfan89b - August 31, 2007 10:28 PM (GMT)
I think we should leave, it would probably save many lives
Hirosho - September 30, 2007 09:40 PM (GMT)
this may be an old topic but still This is something I have to say I believe we have to stay, If we leave it will give the terrorists a reason to bring the fight home, Its better to keep fighting there to draw out the Terrorists or untill the activites die down it is safer for the united states people.
LR. - October 16, 2007 02:44 AM (GMT)
I would get out for the most part. I'd leave a few troops in to finish training their police force, bit after that get completely out. We went in on false pretenses and some of the things we're causing there are horrible. Innocent civilians are dying and troops are dying for what? Freedom from a threat that we can't kill?

I'm nulling my vote.
Should have left a long time ago.
But if we leave now then our time spent there will be seen as a waste.
But it's not even our place to attempt to rebuild.
Dunno, but I do guess for the most part I'd say leave now.
Ian - December 31, 2007 04:02 AM (GMT)
This is going to sound very mean but I say we leave. We are wasting SO much money to try and rebuild this third world country when we don't try and rebuild ours as it is. As in, getting rid of poverty.
big305 - December 31, 2007 04:15 AM (GMT)
u kno i noticed that u guys r rite!!! were wastin r time in irag when we can hunt down the f&%#!@ terrorists!1
