Basically, a tumblelog is a blog, but without that much thinking, and with comments disabled. They're extremely light weight. You make one, and you start posting. You post videos, images, song lyrics, quotes, IM conversations. In other words, you don't blog, you don't spend the time to write some long description. You just upload a photo, and that's it. It's fun, believe it or not.

Is it stupid? Extremely. Is it fun? Insanely.

If you're going to blog, you might as well go for the full thing. But if less content encourages you to post more often, might be worth it. I'll try it out.
